Fix notes:
The source has fade-ins/fade-outs at on every side of the tape (I’ve left the track numbering to reflect the tape structure). No evidence of needle-drop, however.
Repaired the cut between Fame and Time, but the beginning of the latter is chopped.
The muffled sound at the end of Let’s Dance and during Fame is on the source tape.
Sector boundary errors resolved using TLH.

Thanks Diedrich ! Have a nice Sunday!

Listening to it now, Many thanks. Great quality – I’m transported back 30 years, which is quite a weird feeling. Thank you so much for this.

Hi Diedrich
I was there on the 14th July, I hadn’t remembered that he played two dates there until I came across this site. So that is the recording I would most like to hear again. Well done for putting the site together.
Kind Regards
Roger
Hallo Roger,
Thanks for your comment here, but what recording of Manchester you want, date?.
greeting,
Diedrich
Just found this site – I’ve been reminiscing with the anniversary of his death. I attended this show – I was a student at Leeds at the time, and it was a significant outlay for me at that time. I never had a recording of it but I think I had a bootleg of a Montreal show, an FM recording maybe? I remember it had a version of Heroes with a french section in it! My memory is hazy and I don’t have it any more alas.
Is there a way to get a copy of this Manchester recording? I’d love to hear it again.
Thanks for putting the site together, there’s loads to look at on here.
Regards
Roger
