“We’d like to play some songs you may,or may not, remember” Bowie says before Five Years.
The version upped to TTD by kingrue was certainly also remastered but for me is too much on the bassy side and is not equally adjusted on both channels.
The show itself is somehow unique as some of the band members have instrumental problems but Bowie himself is really a bit out of it when it comes to the Ziggy tracks. He misses the cue and obviously even forgot the text at some passages. But then Bowie can make up for these “inaccuracies” with a formidable version of Rock’n’ Roll Suicide.
It’s a pity that Rebel Rebel is missing but it’s great that this show surfaced at all.
