Headache Tape:
A real ‘headache’ tape with all sorts of bits and pieces missing, plenty of interruptions and such a lousy sound quality that listening to this muck of drones and screeches for longer than two seconds is not advisable – and it takes ages to make out what number it is one is trying to hear. Moreover,I doubt whether this recording was actually made in Sheffield.

Oh, by the way I have some grainy black and white pics that I took at the concert.
I was there. Afterwards followed David’s entourage to Hallam Towers Hotel. Dashed across car park and gave Angie Bowie a copy of a screen printed poster that I had done of David. Waited outside entrance for ages with a handful of fans. Eventually let in and met Mick Ronson, Trevor Bolder and Woody Woodmansey. Got their autographs. Went up a floor and met David, asked him if he liked my poster. He autographed a Hotel leaflet for me and a £5 note for a guy next to me. He was wearing full make-up and a turquoise satin jacket. I think they were having an after show party. I was not invited so left happy having met the great man and some of his band. Many years later I sold the autographs to a collector in New York, USA.
