A FINE CONCERT:
After Space Oddity Bowie waits a long while before introducing the band,in the meantime acknowledging the applause at hiss ease. “Thank you very much. Thank you so much. Thank you, good evening. Thank you,ha! Oeh!”. Then he intruduces the band and as usual Earl Slick gets most applause; then Bowie says something unintelligible and then,in quite a low voice,“Happy birthday”. Can anyone tell me what went on?

Notes
Way too fast. Speed adjustment @ 94%.
Hiss removal has been done using iZotope RX2 denoiser. Still some sound on first few tracks, but believe these are arena ambient noise, not tape hiss.
Some volume rebalancing in places, as volume was rather variable.
Apparent join between Life On Mars? and Sorrow – on source tape, left alone.
Strange gap between Scary Monsters and Rebel Rebel removed – no impact.
Gap @ 1:37 in Rebel Rebel: some music lost
Tape flip between Rebel Rebel and White Light White Heat – seamless
Gap in crowd noise @ 16 seconds into Station to Station removed.
Tape flip between Young Americans and Fame – seamless
Gap (encore break) between TVC 15 and Stay removed. Audience noise only.
Hiccup in crowd noise between The Jean Genie and I Can’t Explain (6:23) removed.
