Source 2: Back of the arena, grainy when zoomed, but good views of whole stage set for back-drop shots
Source 3: Excellent close-up footage – but unfortunately only 18 minutes in total

David Bowie Tour band 1990 – Sound+Vision Tour
Bowie specifically chose a smaller band for the tour, saying in a contemporary interview that “It’s a much smaller sound. It’s not quite as orchestrated as any of the other tours. The plus of that is that there is a certain kind of drive and tightness that you get with that embryonic line-up, where everybody is totally reliant on the other two or three guys, so everybody gives a lot more”
David Bowie – vocals, guitar, saxophone[
Adrian Belew – guitar, backing vocals, music director
Erdal Kızılçay – bass guitar, backing vocals
Rick Fox – keyboards, backing vocals
Michael Hodges – drums

  1. My husband was away working, I was trying to find someone who would come with me in his place, non of my friends were really interested. My mates hubby said he would gladly go, she didn’t mind and said she had a fair swap as I left her with my new BMW convertible 🤣 we were so engrossed with the show we missed the last train home at midnight to Liverpool. He offered to get a hotel but I couldn’t let him pay for 2 rooms so we ended up sitting in Euston station till 6am, what a funny night we had. Great memories

  2. I, like Julia, went with my wife when we were dating about 3 months. Great gig, got sent back to my seat when i tried to get closer to the stage. Was supposed to be his last tour haha…. I divorced 11 years ago and David Bowie died. I only miss one of them……

  3. Husband and I went to this concert (when we were still dating) and it definitely was amazing from start to finish. He had such incredible stage presence as well as a fabulous voice.
